Hello! I was excited to do a surprise Saturday afternoon live! We made one card with the Cheerful Daisies Bundle and the color focus was Moody Mauve! Why? Well, there are only 3 days to sign up for my Month 1 of In Color Club (Moody Mauve) and also for the new Annual Catalog Paper Share!
This registration period is shorter than usual (only 6 days total) so I really want to do my best to show you what these events are and what a class would be like as part of In Color Club or if you get the add-on class with the paper share!

Card Base: 4-1/4 x 11" Score: 5-1/2"
Basic White Layer: 4-1/8 x 5-3/8"
Fresh as a Daisy DSP: 2-1/2 x 4"
Wild Wheat Cardstock: 2-1/2 x 4" (note: you can also use reverse side dsp in wild wheat)
Basic White strip: 1/2x 4"
Die Cut Daisy Trio (Cheerful Daisies Dies) Basic White Cardstock
Die Cut Sentiment Rectangle (Cheerful Daisies Dies) Basic White Cardstock
3 Die Cut Sprays in Copper Clay Cardstock
3 Moody Mauve Dots (optional)
Optional: Insert for Card in Basic White Cardstock: 4 x 5-1/4" (not shown in video)
INSTRUCTIONS
Stamp "Oops a Daisy" in Moody Mauve ink on the sentiment die cut rectangle.
Using a Small Blending Brush (or two), add a little Copper Clay to the center of daisies in the die cut piece. With a different blending brush (or tool) add a little Wild Wheat to the leaves. I chose this color combo to coordinate with the DSP pattern and color combo.
Assemble your card starting with the Basic White layer. Add DSP to the top half and Wild Wheat to the lower half. Glue the strip in the center.
Pop your daisy die cut up on dimensionals and add to card at an angle. Optional: Place 3 die cut sprays around your daisies. These were cut in Copper Clay cardstock. I added mine to the dimensionals under the daisies and just popping it down. If you would like to add more glue, consider adhesive sheets to turn these intricate die cuts into stickers.
Add your Moody Mauve dots and you're all set!
NOTE: If you like this card, it is VERY SIMILAR to what you will see in the In Color Club card class and the paper share card class! The pieces will be pre-cut and scored. You will do the stamping, gluing and assembly. Video and PDF instructions will be provided.
I do this so you can get inspiration to use those brand new goodies and products right away! It's so much fun to play with new colors and products!
Thank you for spending time with me today! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Paper Weaving Technique with Countryside Inn DSP Countryside Inn DSP will be available for purchase 5/2/2023
CARD MEASUREMENTS
Card Base: 4-1/4 x 11" score: 5-1/2" (Misty Moonlight, Azure Afternoon Cardstock for bases)
Layer: 4-1/8 x 5-1/4" - (Night of Navy Cardstock or Basic White depending on color patterns)
(4) Strips Vertical of DSP: 1 x 5
(5) Strips Horizontal of DSP: 1 x 4"
Die Cut for Sentiment (Something Fancy Dies) Basic White Cardstock
Layer Die Cut for Sentiment (Something Fancy Dies) Night of Navy Cardstock
INSTRUCTIONS
I recommend two different patterns to create a "quilt" look with this basic weaving technique. While there are many different ways you can weave paper I am going with the simplest option today.
Using Countryside Inn (or desired) DSP, choose one pattern to cut vertical strips. The reason I mention vertical and horizontal is because depending on your pattern, you may need to keep that direction of that pattern in mind. For example, one sheet had rabbits on it that I wanted to keep upright so I chose that pattern for the vertical strips and a different pattern for the horizontal strips where the direction didn't matter. Just something to be mindful of with this technique.
Line up the four 5 inch strips first.
Take the first 4 inch strip and think "over/ under." I personally like to secure this first strip with a dab of glue on each strip as I go to secure it. This will make it easier to weave the other strips.
Start with "over" meaning the 4 inch horizontal strip gets glued to the top of the first 5 inch strip.
Then place the 4 inch strip under the next 5 inch strip. Then over the next 5 inch strip and under the last 5 inch strip. So, OVER/ UNDER/ OVER/ UNDER
Slide the next 4 inch strip in the UNDER/ OVER/ UNDER/ OVER position. You want to weave first and then bring this piece up as close as possible to the first 4 inch strip. This is where you can really start to see the pattern begin.
Next 4 inch strip: OVER/ UNDER/ OVER/ UNDER
Next 4 inch strip: UNDER/ OVER/ UNDER/ OVER
Last 4 inch strip: OVER/ UNDER/ OVER/ UNDER
Glue as desired. I just place small dabs usually on the end flaps. If there are any edges that are a little long or short, or maybe if the line up isn't perfect, just trim off those edges with your paper trimmer.
And now you have your paper weaving layer!
This is GREAT for sampler packs, paper shares, scraps and just your favorite pattern papers!
Now, just assemble your card. Place the layer cardstock piece on the card front. Glue and secure your weaved layer to the card front.
Finish with stamped sentiment on a die cut. I used Cheerful Daisies for the stamps and Something Fancy dies for the dies for this project.
I hope you enjoyed today's card projects! If you like flat cards are not extra postage to mail then you will like this card idea as well!
Now, most of the products used today will be available when the new catalog launches on May 2, 2023. Azure Afternoon Cardstock/ Ink, Misty Moonlight Cardstock, Countryside Inn DSP, Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set... so I will include a product list of what is available for purchase now, just know some of the items won't be there yet.

This is ideal for beginner card makers or card makers who like to create in bulk for all occasion, craft fairs or charities.
There are a few tips I will share on today's cards but before I do, are you signed up for my email list? This is the first place I announce events, classes, shares, clubs, new catalogs and more!
I will be opening registration for my paper share for the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog tomorrow! Registration will be open from 4/26-5/1/2023. It's a narrow window so be sure you are signed up or you can email me and I will happily send you the links when registration opens.
Die Cut Shape for Sentiment (Coordinating Cardstock)
Die Cut Embellishments (Hearts, Stars, etc.) (Coordinating Cardstock)
INSTRUCTIONS
Once you have your DSP and card bases ready, assemble your cards by gluing the top DSP panel, then the bottom and glue the strip where the two pieces meet in the middle.
Stamp sentiment onto the coordinating die cut piece using the Charming Sentiments Bundle and Pretty Peacock ink. (I heat embossed the darker shade cardstock with White heat emboss, optional)
NOTE: Charming Sentiments will carry over to the new catalog but this week is the last week to get the 10% bundle savings.
Die cut desired die cut shapes (hearts, stars also from the Charming Sentiments bundle) in coordinating cardstock shade.
I have pictures below showing which new colors were used with the Bright & Beautiful DSP.

2023 New Core Colors Cardstock Pack
Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper
Pretty Peacock Classic Stampin' Pad
NEW CARD MAKER TIPS -- SIMPLE CARD TIPS
Choose one paper pack at a time and enjoy mixing and patterns the colors/ patterns
Keep the pieces and measurements simple and to a minimum
Use one stamp set and/ or bundle per card set (I even recommend just one or two phrases)
Using coordinating color cardstock is optional but so much fun if you can
Choose just one or two ink colors
Choose just one or two card layouts
If making a card set, decide how many cards: 5, 10, 15 and cut your pieces ahead so you can assemble in one sitting
When you are making cards in the beginning I recommend simple card bases (no fun folds or crazy angles) and keeping the products simple, just one pack of papers, just one or two stamps - we call this simple stamping - and even just one or two card layouts will help as you get into a groove with your new hobby!
Make it fun! Make it colorful and cute but do not feel like you need all of the things. Start simple and then build on your cardmaking skills and products over time!
Products I recommend for new card makers:
Paper Trimmer (This cuts and scores in one tool, very handy! I use mine everyday)
Paper Snips Scissors
One adhesive to start: Multipurpose glue or Stampin' Seal is a great foundational adhesive
Bone Folder: helps get crisp edges on your score lines
Stamp Cleaner: I like the Simply Shammy because its a quick cleaner
1 or 2 clear blocks (for your stamps)
1 stamp set or bundle
1 paper pack
1 variety cardstock pack
1 or 2 colors of ink
1 pack of medium envelopes
Embellishments are fun but even those can be additional items added later. Consider card kits when you are starting which offers a little of everything or consider shares where you can get samplers of products or clubs where you can collect your products over time!
I hope you found this helpful! Enjoy and happy crafting!

Hello! This month's Paper Pumpkin Alternate Project Sheet is a little different because the measurements are for "note card" or thank you card size. You can modify these to the Paper Pumpkin card size if you like. Just wanted to note ahead of time these are smaller than the kit cards.
NOTE: I will also be featuring "preorder" item: Circle Sayings Bundle. This will be available to purchase for customers 5/2/2023. Demonstrators can order it now. This bundle can also be placed in the Starter Kit now. Questions? Email: stampingwithhart@gmail.com
Coordinating colors for the April 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit
CARD 1 MEASUREMENTS
Card Base: 5 x 7" score: 3-1/2" (Balmy Blue Cardstock)
Granny Apple Green Cardstock Layer: 1-1/2 x 5"
Basic Black Cardstock Layer: 1/2 x 5"
Paper Pumpkin Leaf Die Cut: Cut to 2 x 5"
White Circle Punch: 2-3/8"
Inside Layer: 3-1/4 x 4-3/4" (Basic White Cardstock)
Brushed Brass Butterflies (3)
INSTRUCTIONS
Cut the leaf die cut in half and trim the edges so it measures 2 x 5" Glue this to the card front (top). Take the Granny Apple Green piece and using the rectangles pattern stamp from the Paper Pumpkin kit, stamp a pattern across this panel in Granny Apple Green ink. Glue to the bottom of the card.
Glue black strip where the two layers meet on the card front for a clean, finished look.
Stamp desired greeting on circle. I used Circle Sayings to stamp "Sending you a" in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and "Thank you" in Granny Apple Green ink. (Love two tone looks with greetings, when possible). Note: you can also use the greetings from the Paper Pumpkin kit but I need a lot of Thank you cards for May, so I went with a thank you theme overall.
Pop circle up on dimensionals and place center on card.
Add Brushed Brass Butterflies or embellishments from kit. I added 3 butterflies around the leaf pattern. I think it adds a touch of Spring to the cards.
CARD 2 MEASUREMENTS
Card Base: 5 x 7" score: 3-1/2" (Petal Pink Cardstock)
Shaded Spruce Cardstock Layer: 3 x 5"
Paper Pumpkin Envelope Layer: 2-1/2 x 5"
Paper Pumpkin Single Flower Die Cut
Paper Pumpkin Banner Die Cut
Calypso Coral Twine (from kit) (About 18")
Inside Layer: 3-1/4 x 4-3/4" (Basic White Cardstock)
Iridescent Rhinestones from Kit (3)
INSTRUCTIONS
This card is simple and clean in design. This is one of the ways I like to "extend" the life of the kit with alternate cards. The Paper Pumpkin designed cards have this flower die cut as a layer on top of the floral trio die cut. By holding back that piece we can use it as a focal point on other cards. That's the idea here.
Glue down the Shaded Spruce piece first. After you trim down the envelope front to 3 x 5, wrap the twine around it as many times as desired. I chose 3 times. Glue this layer to Shaded Spruce piece.
Stamp desired sentiment on banner die cut from kit. I chose to stamp "Thank you" from the Circle Sayings stamp set in Calypso Coral ink. Pop up on dimensionals and add to upper left corner. Pop flower up on dimensionals and add to the right center over twine.
Finish with the rhinestones from kit
CARD 3 MEASUREMENTS
Card Base: 5 x 7" score: 3-1/2" (Basic White Cardstock)
Paper Pumpkin Envelope Layer: 2-1/8 x 5"
Paper Pumpkin Cherry Blossom Die Cut (Trimmed)
White Circle Punch: 2-3/8"
Parakeet Party Metallic Woven Ribbon (2 pieces about 5-1/2" each)
Iridescent Rhinestones from Kit (3)
Brushed Brass Butterflies (2)
INSTRUCTIONS
Stamp the rectangles pattern stamp (from the kit) across the top and bottom of the card front in Balmy Blue ink. Trim the envelope to 2-1/8 x 5." Take the two pieces of Parakeet Party ribbon and tuck the edges behind this layer at the top for one piece and the bottom for the other piece. Glue to center of card.
Stamp "Celebrate" onto the white punched out circle using the stamp from Circle Sayings. Stamp "Enjoy your day" from the Paper Pumpkin kit in Shaded Spruce on the Petal Pink circle die cut. Pop this circle on dimensionals and add to the center of the larger circle. It is a perfect fit! Love this combo!
The original cherry blossom die cut branch from the kit is very large and very beautiful. I decided to cut it into 3 pieces. The middle and small pieces of the cherry blossom are tucked slightly under the white circles at an angle on either end to make it look continuous. Place these pieces on dimensionals
Finish with butterflies and embellishments from kit
CARD 4 MEASUREMENTS
Card Base: 5 x 7" score: 3-1/2" (Calypso Coral Cardstock)
Granny Apple Green Cardstock Layer: 3-1/4 x 4-3/4"
Basic White Cardstock Layer: 3-1/8 x 4-5/8"
Paper Pumpkin Cherry Blossom Die Cut (Trimmed)
White Circle Punch: 2-3/8"
Calypso Coral Twine (from kit) (About 12")
Paper Pumpkin Calypso Coral Floral Die Cut
Paper Pumpkin Stitched Rectangle Die Cut (rounded corners piece)
Inside Layer: 3-1/4 x 4-3/4" (Basic White Cardstock)
Brushed Brass Butterflies (2)
INSTRUCTIONS
Note: Of all of the alternates, this one has the most stamping (3 ink shades) and layers.
Stamp a background on the Basic White layer using the branch stamp from the kit in Petal Pink. Stamp this image in repeat all over the layer including stamping slightly off the edges to give it a "DSP" look. Stamp the single flower stamp from the kit in Poppy Parade ink throughout the layer between or over the branch pattern you just stamped.
Stamp Thank you in Granny Apple Green (or desired sentiment) on the rectangle die cut.
Glue the Granny Apple layer down first. Wrap the twine twice around your background layer and glue this to the Granny Apple Green layer.
Take the circle you punched out and with a Small Blending Brush (this step is optional) create a soft peachy look with Petal Pink ink and the blending Brush. Add the Cherry Blossom die cut (the bottom piece you trimmed) to the circle with dimensionals. Pop the circle on dimensionals too and add to card on the right.
Glue the sentiment to the Calypso Coral floral die cut along the bottom. Place this whole sentiment piece on dimensionals and tuck slightly under the circle.
Finish with butterflies.
NOTE: If you used the color card bases like I did, be sure to add your inside Basic White panel layers to the insides of your cards if needed. These bases are light but I still like the look of the layer inside the card as well.
If you do not have extra white cardstock, consider punching out the circles from the backs of the card bases in the kits.
Stampin' Up! sells a pack of note cards and envelopes pre-cut and scored. While I made my own card bases for these alternates with cardstock on hand, I do highly recommend this product if you like making cards in this smaller size or if you send a lot of note and/ or thank you cards. I will include it with the product list.

Hello! I just received my April 2023 Paper Pumpkin kit so we are going to unbox and assemble in this video. I did not follow the instructions exactly and I share why in the video.
I am BIG on alternates so there are times I hold back on die cuts and/ or embellishments so I can save them for alternate card ideas and this helps extend the life of the kit!
Before I jump into the Paper Pumpkin unboxing, there is BIG NEWS! Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 19, 2023, for ONE DAY ONLY, you can get FREE SHIPPING on orders of $75 or more (before tax).
When you use my Host Code in the online store between April 2-30, 2023 and spend $50 or more (before tax) you will receive a FREE EMBELLISHMENT from me in May.
Questions? Email me: stampingwithhart@gmail.com
The April kit has this iridescent foiling (looks holographic!) So pretty! I was trying to capture it in a picture.
For those of you who may be new here or new to Paper Pumpkin, this is a monthly craft subscription box from Stampin' Up! The majority of the kits are cardmaking kits but a few can also feature 3D projects.
Paper Pumpkin kits are all-inclusive meaning everything you need to create the cards is inside the box. I would recommend scissors, your preferred adhesive and a couple clear blocks if you have them, but if you are brand new to cardmaking, there is adhesive provided in the kit each month.
The next kit will be the May 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit:
Subscribe by 5/10/2023 for the May 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit It will feature the brand new 2023-2025 In Colors available 5/2/23
There are also prepaid subscription options available for Paper Pumpkin. You can find out more information on the Stampin' website or contact me and I can help.
Something to note: There will be a price increase on Paper Pumpkin starting May 2, 2023. If you would like to lock in the current price, I recommend purchasing a prepaid subscription for 3, 6 or 12 months this month before the price increases.
Just to sum up, FREE SHIPPING starts at Midnight Mountain Time/ 2AM Eastern Time
The FREE SHIPPING OFFER ends at 11:59 pm Mountain Time/ 1:59 am Eastern Time
Note: If you are already on my email list the project sheet has already been emailed to you.
Hello and welcome! Today I'm tackling how to combine old favorites with new products! There is a brand new bundle called Circle Sayings that will be available to customers starting May 2, 2023 and available for demonstrators to purchase now. You can also place preorder items in a Starter Kit and save!
This project sheet takes simple card layouts with the By the Bay Designer Series Paper, a retiring paper pack that is currently on sale and we are going to pair it with this very versatile new bundle to make all occasion cards you will love! If you like the retiring items being used in this tutorial DO NOT WAIT to order them in my personal opinion. Once last chance items are gone - they are gone!

Glue DSP strip and cardstock strip to the left side on card front.
Glue the scalloped contour die cut to the right.
Depending on your daisy combination, stamp and die cut desired size daisies. You have the option to make die cut daisies, stamped daisies or a combination of the two. I varied my combinations. You can reference the photos. I was inspired by the DSP for come of the color combos.
Build/ Stamp your daisies and add to the Scalloped Contour Die Cut Piece.
Stamp sentiment (this is from Circle Sayings Stamp Set - also brand new) because these cards will be going out with my catalogs and I wanted a warm greeting. Stamp this in desired coordinating In Color.

Hello! Welcome to today's blog where I am focused on the outgoing Tea Boutique Collection from Stampin' Up!
Yes, these fabulous products are retiring and since it's one of my favorites I wanted to do a retiring product highlight. The Tea Boutique Cards and Envelopes are 60% off! Don't wait if you want these. The last chance has been wildly popular and things are selling out fast!
I have a complete shopping list below and more than one product used is on sale but I have to shout out that cards and envelopes deal...
I also want to give fellow demonstrator Patty Bennett a huge shoutout today. Patty is part of my upline and has very kindly selected me and two other demonstrators, Patti Dolan and Jennie Fetz, to be part of her Artisan Design Team for April, May and June 2023!
Thank you so much Patty! I am so grateful for this opportunity and I look forward to designing for you in the coming months. Be sure to check out these demonstrators. They are all very talented women and business owners! Today kicks off my artisan projects for Patty's Team and all of you!
I love easy these cards are to reproduce in multiples Using coordinating colors and products cuts design time in half!

INSTRUCTIONS for Sweet Sorbet Card
I created two versions of this card. The only difference is the die cut the sentiment is stamped on, just different dies from the same set - Something Fancy - and one card has die cut lemons, the other has two stamped lemons on the die cut wedge. You can create your cards as desired.
Create a pattern on the left side of card front with your die cut hexagons in the lemon DSP pattern. I wouldn't go further than two rows. It creates a fun, easy pattern. Glue to card base.
Glue the tea cup die cut overlay to vellum - NOTE - I highly recommend using Adhesive Sheets on the detail teacup die cut. It turns it into a sticker and you don't have to worry about mess on the vellum.
Glue teacup lower right. Be strategic about glue placement because it can show through vellum. A couple of glue dots or adhesive dots behind the design pattern should be fine.
Add one lemon wedge to teacup with a dimensional. Add one lemon wedge to the sentiment with a dimensional.
Stamp lemons in Crushed Curry Ink. Stamp sentiment in Crushed Curry Ink.
Finish with Heart Pearls.
DESIGN TIP: I was inspired to create these hexagon patterns from the card on the front of the January to April 2023 Mini Catalog. Before these catalogs retire, page back through and find some of your favorite cards in them and use those ideas for some upcoming cards. It's a great way to get inspired and not stress about a card layout or design.
