Tea Boutique Cards and Envelopes 60% off! Shop the Retirement Sale & Sav...

Hello! Welcome to today's blog where I am focused on the outgoing Tea Boutique Collection from Stampin' Up!

Yes, these fabulous products are retiring and since it's one of my favorites I wanted to do a retiring product highlight. The Tea Boutique Cards and Envelopes are 60% off! Don't wait if you want these. The last chance has been wildly popular and things are selling out fast!

I have a complete shopping list below and more than one product used is on sale but I have to shout out that cards and envelopes deal...

I also want to give fellow demonstrator Patty Bennett a huge shoutout today. Patty is part of my upline and has very kindly selected me and two other demonstrators, Patti Dolan and Jennie Fetz, to be part of her Artisan Design Team for April, May and June 2023!

Thank you so much Patty! I am so grateful for this opportunity and I look forward to designing for you in the coming months. Be sure to check out these demonstrators. They are all very talented women and business owners! Today kicks off my artisan projects for Patty's Team and all of you!

  • 3 Heart Pearls
INSTRUCTIONS for Sweet Sorbet Card

I created two versions of this card. The only difference is the die cut the sentiment is stamped on, just different dies from the same set - Something Fancy - and one card has die cut lemons, the other has two stamped lemons on the die cut wedge. You can create your cards as desired.

Create a pattern on the left side of card front with your die cut hexagons in the lemon DSP pattern. I wouldn't go further than two rows. It creates a fun, easy pattern. Glue to card base.

Glue the tea cup die cut overlay to vellum - NOTE - I highly recommend using Adhesive Sheets on the detail teacup die cut. It turns it into a sticker and you don't have to worry about mess on the vellum.

Glue teacup lower right. Be strategic about glue placement because it can show through vellum. A couple of glue dots or adhesive dots behind the design pattern should be fine.

Add one lemon wedge to teacup with a dimensional. Add one lemon wedge to the sentiment with a dimensional.

Stamp lemons in Crushed Curry Ink. Stamp sentiment in Crushed Curry Ink.

Finish with Heart Pearls.

DESIGN TIP: I was inspired to create these hexagon patterns from the card on the front of the January to April 2023 Mini Catalog. Before these catalogs retire, page back through and find some of your favorite cards in them and use those ideas for some upcoming cards. It's a great way to get inspired and not stress about a card layout or design.
