BACK FOLD CARD
- Card Base: 5-1/2 x 7-1/2" Score: 3-1/4 and 6-1/2"
- DSP Layer 1: 3 x 5-1/4"
- DSP Layer 2: 7/8 x 5-1/4"
- Insert: 4 x 5-1/4" (Basic White Cardstock)
- Die Cut (for Fun Fold Mechanism) Thanks & Beyond Dies Add-On
INSTRUCTIONS
Fold first score line forward. Fold second score line backward (the 1" fold).
Stamp greeting on Die Cut. Stamp Sentiment on the insert and glue inside card. Add your DSP pieces with glue to the front.
Add adhesive only to the right side of the Die Cut and adhere to the 1" fold. This becomes your fun fold mechanism.
Add embellishments if desired!
A2 FOLD CARD
- Card Base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2" Score: 4-1/4" (Basic Beige Cardstock)
- Layer varies (see cards above) I use kit components as layers usually 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 or 4 x 5-1/4"
- Die Cut Layer (Grove Dies/ Everyday Details Dies (Circle Size: 3-1/4")
- Insert: 4 x 5-1/4"
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Tree Scene Card: (Basic White Card Base)
- Cut Crumb Cake card base from kit in half (4-1/4 x 5-1/2) I trimmed down to 4-1/8 x 5-3/8" but that's optional
- Die Cut with Grove Die
- Stamp using the trees stamp from kit in Garden Green ink all over the tree and frame until you have a leafy texture
- (Optional) color tree trunks with Deep Natural Tone Stampin' Blend
- With a Blending Brush create a soft blue look on the white card front using Misty Moonlight ink
- Position the tree scene but don't glue yet - stamp desired greeting between the trees in Early Espresso ink
- Place dimensionals on tree scene and add to card front
- Deer Silhouette Card: (Use the Crumb Cake card base from kit or Basic Beige card base if you want to make your own)
- Cut the Blue Distressed Wood Card Base from kit in half (4-1/4 x 5-1/2"
- Using the 3-1/4" circle from the Everyday Details Dies cut a circle in the center
- Using the criss-cross border die add a die cut pattern to top and bottom of blue layer
- Place blue layer on card to position stamps but don't glue down yet
- Stamp tree branch circle from Encircled in Nature stamp set in Early Espresso ink
- Stamp the half circle tree cluster from Encircled in Nature stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink along branch circle
- Stamp "You're the Best There Is" from Paper Pumpkin stamp set in Early Espresso ink inside the circle
- With a blending brush add some soft blue shading to the tree cluster
- Die cut 2 deer from Grove Dies in Early Espresso cardstock, add inside the circle
- Place blue layer on dimensionals and add to card
- Finish with (12) Neutrals Sequins along the patterns top and bottom of card
- Thanks Card: (Basic Beige Card Base)
- Tie Basic Beige ribbon (around 11-14") around multi-color wood panel layer from kit, tie knot on right edge and glue to card
- Die cut "thanks" from Thanks & Beyond Dies in wood pattern and Basic White, glue together creating shadow layer
- Pop die cut blue circle on dimensionals and add to card
- Glue the "thanks die cut to circle
- Fray ribbon edges with fingers or scissors
