Welcome! I have a wild and fun fashion inspired card for you today! Purse cards or Handbag cards with the specialty Like an Animal Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!

CARD MEASUREMENTS:

• Card Base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2" Score at 4--1/4" (Basic White Cardstock)
• Like an Animal Designer Paper Layer: 4-1/4 x 5-1/2"
• Fine Shimmer Paper Layer (or Polished Pink): 3-3/4 x 5"
• Basic Black Cardstock Layer: 3-5/8 x 4-7/8"
• Purse DSP: 2-5/8 x 4-1/2"
• Purse Top Fine Shimmer Die Cut (cut in half) Framed Floret Oval Die measuring 4-1/2" in length
• 1 Embellishment (Iridescent Pastel Gem, Opal Round or Black Matte Dot)
• Optional Ribbon Strap: Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon (About 7")

INSTRUCTIONS: 

Glue the Like an Animal DSP to the card. It will cover the entire card front. 

To make the purse, die cut the oval from Framed Florets in specialty paper of your choice (I chose Fine Shimmer in Gold and Fresh Freesia and Silver Foil) and cut the entire die in half. To hold the frame in place with the inner oval add a few pieces of tear and tape to the back along the seam to keep as one piece. Place Foam Adhesive Strip along the top of the purse. Place a mini dimensional and add the to bottom center of the oval and place onto the Like an Animal DSP piece in the 2-5/8 x 4-1/2".

FOR THE STAMPING:

Use embossing buddy on top center of Basic Black piece. Stamp desired sentiment in VersaMark ink. Sprinkle white embossing powder. Tap off excess and heat set with heat tool. I used "Hello Beautiful" stamp from the Hello Beautiful Stamp Set. I used "Happy Birthday" from Happiness Abounds and I used "There is no one quite like you" from the Thanks a Bunch Sale-a-Bration stamp set.

Once your stamp is heat embossed and set, wipe away any residue from the anti static powder and then glue the purse you just created to the Basic Black piece.

EMBELLISHMENTS:

If you are adding the ribbon strap to your purse, place ribbon on either edge on the back of purse with Tear and Tape before you glue it down to the black panel. You can add a gem or dot to the center detail part of the oval to look like a fastener or clasp for your purse/ handbag. Such a fun detail!

Finish up the card by mounting the purse panel to the Fine Shimmer panel and glue to the card.
