If you like easy techniques with WOW results then try the baby wipe technique (if you haven't already). I can't believe I've had baby wipes in my house for 6 years and I'm just playing with this technique now.
You will love it!
Before I go into the technique I want to remind you that I have a HOST CODE: YMP7PKJM that expires on September 30th. If you spend $50 or more (before tax) before 9/30 you will receive a free embellishment goodie from me. You will also qualify for Saleabration rewards. Just to be clear, you will choose the Saleabration reward when you place your order and it will ship direct from Stampin' Up! The free embellishment is from me and will ship separately from the order (since it is coming from me). Saleabration also ends September 30th! Shop with Me
When Saleabration ends so will the Starter Kit special from Stampin' Up! where you choose a FREE bundle on top the regular deal. You choose $125 worth of product for $99, FREE SHIPPING and a FREE Bundle. The free bundle option ends 9/30. Any questions, email me: I'm happy to answer any questions. This is an incredible deal and it's going away soon! Purchase the Starter Kit

You will especially love how many cards and stamped images you can get out of it! I stamped across an entire 8 1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock and every image was perfect without freshening up the ink on the baby wipe.
Let's jump in! This is pretty easy but there are a few tips I'd like to share based on doing this myself and taking the advice of other crafters who were seasoned at this technique:
- Use a plate or glass mat or something that can be easily cleaned (you will set your baby wipes and ink on this
- Use a few baby wipes to absorb the extra ink so less gets onto the plate (unless you aren't worried about the surface to clean up)
- If you don't want ink on your fingers consider plastic gloves
- You want the area of ink on the baby wipe to be big enough to accommodate your largest stamp you plan to use with it. For example, I needed the ink area to be big enough for all of the leaves in the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set and those are various sizes (think small, medium and large)
- Choose whatever color combo you prefer
- You can be random with where you place your ink on the wipe or you can create specific patterns/ shapes (it's up to you)
- During my experimentation phase I discovered both photopolymer and cling stamps work. I also discovered sentiments and images work. I prefer solid image stamps but I even chose stamps with very thin handwriting in Ornate Thanks stamp set to create a vintage looking background and those also picked up the ink from the baby wipe nicely. My thing is to have fun with it. I think the bolder the letters the better. Decide what works for you! It's so much fun to play with these. Here are some card samples for you.
