Elegantly Said Bundle in the New In Colors! Simple & Fancy Card Ideas

The Elegantly Said Bundle was the first set to catch my eye when Stampin' Up! announced which products would be available for preorder.

One of the VERY BEST PERKS of being a demonstrator is getting the opportunity to see the new catalog and be able to preorder some of the new products at least a month before it launches to customers worldwide. If you are a "hobby" demonstrator, which basically means having the VIP perks, you get first look, first shop and demonstrator discounts. The biggest unexpected benefit for me personally when I joined was the community that welcomed me. If you are a "business" demonstrator, like I am, its an opportunity to prepare and give customers the best launch by showing the brand new products and finished samples and projects as they launch.

SIMPLE STAMPING THE NEW IN COLORS WITH ELEGANTLY SAID

What is simple stamping? Ink + stamps + cardstock

If you want quick and easy the above picture shows how much impact you can get with simple stamping! The lace stamp from Elegantly Said is stunning and intricately detailed. It's a larger stamp so it offers big impact with almost no effort. The thank you cards above are in al five 2021-2023 In Colors: Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Polished Pink. I used the Basic White Note Cards and Envelopes for this simple stamping project.

What are "stepped up" or more advanced card designs?

This is where the term "bundle" comes in. It adds at least another element to a card aside from stamping such as layering, punching, die cuts and/ or embellishments.

I wanted to show how well the punch combines with the Elegantly Said stamps. The designers did a beautiful job with this bundle. The cards below feature all of the In Colors, a variety of coordinated Designer Series Paper (all new and will be available to customers this Tuesday, May 4, 2021).

Card Measurements: 6 x 6"

Take a 12 x 12 sheet of Basic White Cardstock and cut at 6" and then score each 6 x 12" piece at 6" as well. This creates a 6 x 6 square card. This will require a special envelope to fit this size. If you are interested in seeing a demonstration for an envelope, let me know.

Stamp the lace stamp in each corner (4 times)

Cut your Designer Series Paper layer to 3 x 3"

For the Polished Pink card you will need (4) Elegant Tags in the Polished Pink cardstock.

I used the Circle Punches in 1 1/2" and 2" measurements to create the sentiment and layer. I chose the "For You" stamp from Elegantly Said and there is a small flourish stamp that I used on the circle to frame the sentiment. I stamped the flourish two times.

I finished off the Polished Pink card by adding the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels which will add sparkle to any project!

The Pale Papaya card is pretty much identical to the Polished Pink card design, just swapping out the shade and DSP.

The Soft Succulent card was fun. The main difference to this card (and this is also the card in my video tutorial on FB and YouTube (see above) we use 6 Elegant instead of 4 and the Soft Succulent tags (4) are behind the square DSP and then an additional (2) Elegant Tags in Evening Evergreen over top of the square layer. The stamped sentiment circle is popped up on dimensionals. I finished off with Soft Succulent Jewels.

The Evening Evergreen card is very similar to the Soft Succulent card design where the tags are the first layer and then the square DSP goes over top. This does not have the additional two tags. The stripes are bold and I didn't think it needed anything further. On this card I added the coordinating sheer ribbon also in Evening Evergreen. I love how easy this ribbon is to tie into bows.

I hope you enjoyed these cards created using the Elegantly Said Bundle and 2021-2023 In Color Collection. Stampin' Up! knocked it out of the park with this new catalog and customers will get access to it starting May 4, 2021 (Tuesday)! We are so close!
