MEASUREMENTS:
VERTICAL Card Base: 4-1/4 x 11" Score: 5-1/2" (Pumpkin Pie Cardstock)
Bottom Pop Up Step Panel: 4 x 4-1/4"
Score: 1/2", 1-1/2", 2-1/2", 3-1/2" (Pumpkin Pie Cardstock)
Top Pop Up Step Panel: 3-1/2 x 4-1/4"
Score: 1/2", 1", 2-1/2", 3" (Pumpkin Pie Cardstock)
WHITE INSERT: 3-3/4 x 5-1/4"
Designer Series Paper (Spooky Sweet 12 x 12 DSP Pack)
Take the 12 x 12 sheet with the row homes and cut into 4 x 5-1/4" pieces
From the bottom cut:
3/4" strip (x 4")
1-1/4" strip (x 4")
3-1/4" (x4") *this is the piece that's left if you prefer you can trim this down to 3" if you want a tighter fit*
INSTRUCTIONS:
Glue the 3-1/4" DSP piece to the top of the card front base
Glue bottom step to bottom edge of card
Glue the top step just above the bottom step (see video instructions)
Adhere the 1-1/4" DSP strip to the top pop up step and the 3/4" piece to the bottom pop up step
Decorate with desired dies and sentiments and embellishments
Take care to only add glue to the die cuts on the part that touches the pop up step fold! Because this is a fun fold you don't want glue to keep the pop up glued shut.
TURN IT INTO A TREAT HOLDER (TWO OPTIONS)
Option 1: Add an Iridescent Treat Bag to the inside of the card as a "pouch" to hold treats or gift cards or money
Option 2: Use those step pop panels to hold your favorite fun size candies!
TIP: Add an adhesive dot (very small) to keep treat from sliding out of the panel if you need it to stay in place. If you like that the treats slide easily then no adhesive dot necessary.

Are you in a crafting rut or maybe you bough the Floral Charm Suite and haven't used it yet...
In this video I walk you through 7 steps to get creatively unstuck using a suite from Stampin' Up! Today's suite: The Floral Charm Suite which gives off Autumn Vibes!
One easy fun fold - 12 Card Ideas - One Suite
STEP 1: Let the Color Palette Be Your Guide
STEP 2: Choose an Easy Fun Fold with Standard Card Size Measurements
STEP 3: Cut & Prep Your DSP, Die Cuts; Put all stamps on blocks, etc.
STEP 4: Glue DSP to Card Bases
STEP 5: Add the Fun Fold Die Cut to Card Front
STEP 6: Stamping Time (stamping, inking, shading, coloring)
STEP 7: Embellish (Die Cuts, Ribbon, Gem, Twine, etc)
This is essentially the steps of assembling a kit as well. I think kits and suites are very similiar in that the Stampin' Up! design team has created a color palette and theme and that's what guides this process.
Prepping and cutting makes ALL the difference when you are sitting down to create a set of cards, or you are feeling stuck creatively. By starting to cut the pieces in the colors of the palette it really helps to visualize how to assemble your card. By placing every stamp in the set on blocks you are much more likely to use them all, or to stamp some simple backgrounds in addition to your greetings.
Once you start stamping and assembling all of the prep work cutting die cuts ahead of time pays off as the cards start to come together more smoothly and before you know it you are out of your crafting rut and you have a set of 12 birthday or thank you cards to show for it featuring this beautiful floral charm suite!
I hope these steps help you out of your crafting rut! You will make someone's day when you send them these handmade cards! And that's what it is all about.
